Dead battery, although it's the original battery so I guess it's done well to survive this long. Fortunately I'm a member of the AA so called them up and was about to sit back and enjoy a lenghty wait when, 20 seconds after finishing the call, the AA van appears in front of me!!!! Unbelievable. edd_t Posted October 13, 2005 Share Posted October 13, 2005 i waited 3 hours for the RAC once. my suspension failed on the MG (good old hydrogas suspension) they sent out a tow truck instead of a low loader! another 1 hour wait later. and i got a £10 gift voucher! woohoo. car looked good though only being about 5 cm off the ground!
