Just wondering what others experiences on the above. I have had this happen to me twice and it has both been rain related which made me think that maybe there was an electrical fault. Basically, on pulling away from a standing start on a wet surface a slight wheel spin occured and then as I planted my foot to accelerate away (slowly) the power went flat. As it was in daylight on both occassions I couldnt see that the yellow indication light flashed (car with tyre marks) or that the snow light had come on.

So my question is, is this normal for it to decide to go to snow if it sense a bit of wheel spin? When I have drifted the rear in dry it doesnt happen. Tyres are still pretty meaty. Is it best to switch of the slip control?

Cheers
