Guest chiefvinso
Just wondering what others experiences on the above. I have had this happen to me twice and it has both been rain related which made me think that maybe there was an electrical fault. Basically, on pulling away from a standing start on a wet surface a slight wheel spin occured and then as I planted my foot to accelerate away (slowly) the power went flat. As it was in daylight on both occassions I couldnt see that the yellow indication light flashed (car with tyre marks) or that the snow light had come on. So my question is, is this normal for it to decide to go to snow if it sense a bit of wheel spin? When I have drifted the rear in dry it doesnt happen. Tyres are still pretty meaty. Is it best to switch of the slip control? Cheers
RobSheffield
yes, switch it off and remove it, then fit Racelogic Traction control the stock TC is poo! iirc it waits until 5 seconds of wheelspin occurs, then completely cuts power! see here for current group buy on RLTC http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=47292
Guest chiefvinso
OK thanks, I was really worried when I was putting my foot down and the car was limping (smoothly) along.
