I know what you mean, but they openly admit that they just want to shift it on so someone will get a bargain!

This is basically a brand new car (in supra terms) ...... When I bought mine you could not find a decent anywhere, and those that were you paid the premium!

Makes me think I might shift the old girl on and get a newer, lower milage TT.

Question: How does the insurance work with depreciation?

When I insured my soop i STRESSED that the car was in A1 condition and wanted top valuation cover for it including mods. After a few phone calls and sending documation, photographs and receipts etc. they agreed value (a good valuation).

Does this value depreciate automatically with the car?

If so, how much etc..

Thats a very good question.

I thought it worked like this; you have a lovely car worth say £12000.

You pay the insurers a big wadge of money every month cos you have no choice.

You are hit by some twat; they blame you and you get £4000

is that correct lol

52

a car is always worth what the buyer is prepared to pay for it.

if yours is a nice car then it will hold a certain value..... cheap cars are usually cheap for a good reason.

I have also noticed a lot of Supras going pretty cheap.. but I'm guessing this is because they are approaching high milage and therefore require potential work in the near future such as turbo, cambelt, bushes, etc. etc.
