Will need to put new tyres on the car as its currently got 235/45/17s on the back (god knows why - I didn't put them on!!) and have got a price of £230 for 2 tyres, supplied and fitted (inclusive of VAT) from local supplier for 2 x Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 255/40 R17 Y.

Good price? Good tyre?

It seems from doing a search that this does seem to be the tyre of choice on here!!

Well if you had been searching that up then you'll know that is a very very good price.

They're on offer on www.blackcircles.com at the moment - thought I'd get a pair whilst they're cheap. Anybody want 2 x 235/45/17 Avon ZZ1s? They look brand new but I'm taking them off because they are wrong!!!!

Its got a brand new pair of Avons on there already!! I'll probably be changing them to Goodyears when they wear out so no point in having these hanging around!

I'd keep em. you never know when you might need them.

No I've just been on the receiving end of gouging a brand new tyre on a kerb a few days after I'd sold a spare one. Sods law dictates you'll need one the minute you sell it. If you don't sell them they will sit there forever staring at you lol. To be fair though you'll not get a lot for em so you may as well hang onto them.

Its a good point actually. Would be very handy to keep them in case of punctures and the like.
