I have an Innovate Wide-band Gauge kit on my can and i was told that i shouldn't run my car without the O2 sensor having power to it as it will damage the sensor.
I only ask as i have IntelliStart on my Clifford alarm and i cant use it as i'm worried i will damage my O2 sensor.
Anyone clear this up for me.
Thanks
Scott

Anyone?
I have the AEM wideband and in the instuctions for that it says dont install the probe and run the car without any power it so i'd say yes you will damage it
Surely the intellistart starts the car as normal anyway? How can it run without power to the O2 sensor!!! Or am I thinking of the NB one?

Just wire your Innovate to a power source that comes on with the ignition, this is what I have done and it works fine. Now I need to replace the standard sensor as it seems to be fewk'd.......

Tbourner: The O2 sensor in question is a seperate aftermarket one from the stock O2 sensor. Its soley used for my wideband gauge kit.
Soonto"HAS"soop: This is what i thought i would have to do but didnt want to as i hate wiring! looks like my only option.
Thanks all
Scott
Did you get the XD1 and LC1? I have that setup, great bit of kit! Have you looked at logworks 2?
