Mysterious Button on J-Spec Auto MkIV

Can anyone please tell me what the red button at the automatic gear lever does? Unfortunatly, being a jap import, the writing is in japanese something I am not fully conversant with yet!

its so you can take it out of park without you foot on the brake as that needs the ignition on to engauge the relay to let you move the stick..hope that helps :OK:

Dis-engages Park whilst the engine isn't running. So that you can change gear with the engine unloaded. Helps if you need towing etc.
