JohnA
Autos are heavier still. UK spec is yet heavier. Yo, glass headlights, extra rads etc all add up the lard.
Chris Wilson
As a matter of comparison my single turbo, RWD Skyline R33 GTS-t, stock save for huge brakes and air con compressor and condenser removed weighs 1375 kilos, with a full tank of fuel. If you do track days you can usually get onto the weighbridge when things are quiet. You certainly can at Oulton and Donington, and they are acurately calibrated and maintained. I was hoping it would be less tan 1300 kilos. Most published figures are a bit on the low side, in my experience.
Rob
SZ-R is 1420kg stock 130kg is quite a chunk o'weight though. What are the different parts though? No turbos, SMIC, some pipework, doesn't seem that much to me.
Homer
1550 Kilos. Thats for a UK Spec though, the TT imports are slightly lighter (well unless I'm in it!). There's a thread on it somewhere.... Edit - Just seen how old this thread was! Ignore me...

The ego of the TT owner must weigh a fair bit -Ian
