View Full Version : Hampshire Car Meet/bbq Evening
Hi guys and girls.
Some of you will remember the car meets I organised at the beginning of this year and last year (usually with between 30 and 50 cars in Fareham and i had the purple veilside gto).
Well as a couple of you may know ive now opened my own garage (UNDERGROUND PERFORMANCE) selling and working on performance motors.
I figured why not organise another meet starting at the garage with a BBQ and music etc (possibly a few nice ladies too :eyebrows: )followed buy a bit of a cruise.
We are going to do this on Friday the 14th October starting at 8pm.
It would be cool if some of you guys could come, it will be cool to see you all again.
We are based in fort Fareham, newgate lane, Fareham.
If you are coming from the M27, take J11 and head towards Fareham staying in the middle lane. When you get to the roundabout at the end (with a flyover and viaduct on your left) turn left towards Gosport. Stay in the right hand lane and go over the mini roundabout (still in right lane) and then go over the flyover where you should see a car sales garage and a shell garage on your left. Opposite the shell garage is a right hand turn into Fort Fareham. This is the estate we are based in. (there are 3 speed bumps but they are not that bad and as long as you go slow and sensible even the lowered/kitted cars should have no problems. follow the road along and go behind the big blue 1st Saxon building and we are the last unit down there (follow the music etc)
Hopefully well get quite a few people down there and it will be a good chance to speak to like minded people, check out some nice motors and generally have a good laugh hope to see you there.

I might be there, in the misses MR2 as stated, but it is my birthday that day so all club members who attend must bring gifts for their favourite moderator! (I can just see it now, my car full of gifts for Rosie!)

Erm make sure I bring the f*ck off its not for sale any more you should have bought it when I needed the money sign lol. There was a 2 day time frame I would have sold the car to anyone that offered me £10k for it. Now I don't need the money until my tax bill comes through next september by which time I'll have done enough overtime to pay that :) When my aristo gets here I'll stick her in my semi-garage on axle stands for the winter and bring her back out for the summer next year. In the meantime I'll let the interior and the wheels go on the swappsy basis for stock items. The stereo I'll probably get rid of as well as some of the bling and maybe other bits. I'll swap the HKS cams over into my aristo same with the brakes.

Steve - You'll have to do a list of what stuff you need, ie burgers, rolls, cheese etc and see if anyone can bring anything

I might turn up. Oh if you go I'll give you that money. I've had a few problems since we last spoke and it's just gone out of my head:scare:
I'm going to use this as an excuse to re-do my misty light (giving it one last chance before I just buy a new one) and clean the car.
Both of which have needed doing for a good month or two! :)

ive been thinking about the rain issue.im only puting two cars inside (prob one on ranp and one under.this should give loads of room for everyone if it rains.plus weve got a dj, buffet food and a PS2 rigged to a big projector :)

Agree with the weather report, it's been fine up here today. Been a bit cloudy, but not cold or even damp.
Just cleaned the car, still looks dirty as it needs a good polish, might try and do my headlight now. Still gotta get a shower as spent all afternoon taking stuff to the dump, but should make it for 8pm (or fashionably late!)

what happened after then. did a convoy of supras turn up.
I got down there for about 8.15 and had a quick look round. I went to Pompey to pick a mate up to bring him back but ended up staying there till late.
On my way home I stopped in to see if anyone was still there & there were a few drunken stragglers! :) but everyone was leaving. Tigger's bottle of Vodka made me make a hasty retreat anyway, last time I drank that was not a good memory!! :cry:
Some very nice cars there, would loved to have seen the gold Supra in the light. The kitted RX7 was nice too.
Had a little blast up the motorway too to get to the Shell garage after, but I panicked when one car was coming up close behind us at 100+ leptons so I slowed down - it was another Supra! :)
Oh yeah - I was the one in disguise with a wooly hat and beard! :) I figured if I didn't shave for a few months I could buy some new alloys, but caved in and bought some razors last night!
