While datalogging back to back runs with my accelerometer, the runs with TC 'on' are consistently better than those with it 'off' Ambient temps are not low, road is dry, tyres are good, why on earth would TC make any difference at speeds over 60mph? If anything, with TC 'off' the flap should operate a bit less and the ignition retard during gear changes should be less obtrusive. I'm not talking standing-start times here, more like in-gear acceleration. I don't understand why this could be happening... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

LeeT Posted September 28, 2005 Share Posted September 28, 2005 say again? you read correct although the road surfaces would have alot to do with it. the trac light was always flashing at me, thats what made me go with the rltc unit. the mrs didnt feel to safe with the traction control lights flashing at high speed.
