Just wondered what the best way of feeding the wires through for the amp (ie power lead from the battery - do i need to drill a hole like my last car?), and also where's the best spot for the earth wire from the amp?

It depends where you are mounting the amp?
There are 2 grommets to feed wires in to the car from.
Lift the bonnet and look on the left hand wing near the bulkhead there is a hole with wires going in to it, that goes in to the drivers footwell.
their is also one on the right hand side, this goes in to the passenger footwell, but you have to take the arch liner off to gain access to the grommet, that is the side i used to feed power cable in to the car as it meant running less of the power cable as it is closer to the battery.

Yeah and I'm not sure the power cable will run all the way to the boot if I feed it through the drivers side of the car. Will have a look when i get home, is it a ball ache to take the arch cover off or easy? Also where have you grounded your amp, is there a nice easy bolt lying about or is it another ball ache?!!!

The arch isn't too bad to remove, i think (if memory serves) their is a ground point underneath where the seatbelt mechanism is on the left hand side of the boot as you look in to it, you might have to remove one of the plastic boot covers to get access to it.
You should be able to see wires going to it.

Easiest way I found is from the battery, keep going straight back and you'll see a rubber hose section about an inch thick (kind of corregated). Make a small hole in this by the bulkhead (be careful not to go through any wires!!) and you'll see it carries wire harness into the passenger side internal (to the ECU). Just thread through this and it'll come out freely in the footwell.
Pull off the trim and straight to the boot.

Sweet, that also sounds like an option, I'll give both ways a go later and see which is easiest. I just didn't want to start drilling unnecessary holes in my beloved Supra before checking with people who've already done the job!

I ran a 8 gauge power cable direct from the battery throught the grommet in the passenger side as above, its tricky and takes a while. My advice is use a coat hanger and some tape to get it through, but once through it can be pulled through easy. :)

Exactly.... go throught the passenger footwell. Remember to fuse the cable within a foot of the battery I found there was a space just next to the washer filler. then clip it along the cable that runs along the side of the engine bay and then look down into the engine bay for the grommet.... then connect large amp and speakers and enjoy!
