Going Through The Fire Wall

Am i right in thinking that behind one of the glove boxes i can gain access to a pre made hole in the fire wall?? Need to pass a couple of wires through into the engine bay.

Behind the top glove box is where the loom comes through into the car. Or there's another one lower down but you need to take the wheel arch liner out to get to it. Easiest is the rubber grommit where the clutch cable goes (or would go if your car is an Auto)

There is a yellow grommit each side up in the inner wing area. If you look under the bonnet there's a hole in the inner wing each side near the firewall with a plastic bit of trim round. If you peer in there you'll see the grommit - it comes out high up under the dash (easier to see on the drivers side).

Cheers Scrote, i'm staring and staring at that picture but for the life of me can't work it out. Think my brain has been dried up at work today Will have to get under the bonnet with a tourch tomorrow and see what's being used and what isn't.

Had a look at where the clutch cable was meant to go and the hole wasn't there. The heast resistant material stuff on the inside of the wall had a hole cut in the correct place, but not in the actual fire wall.

Went another route in the end so alls well that ends well
