Hi :)

I've recently bought a 1JZ-GTE powered 5 speed manual Soarer. 3 days later I've killed the clutch already. Great :)

So, could you see what you can get for it please?

JZZ30 TT Soarer, 1JZ-GTE engine, R154 gearbox.

I need to know what flywheel it is. Is it 2jz non-turbo or a stock 1jz flywheel being used?

Hi Dusty,

Was meaning to ask you about this also - think my clutch is on it's last legs. I have the same setup as Jenks in terms of engine / gearbox but mine are in a JZA70 Mk3 Supra TT (JDM only car that I've imported). The complication in my case is that it already has an HKS twin plate clutch on it - I got it like this. So I'm not sure if my current setup is push / pull and whether I have a special HKS flywheel or not? Don't really know what I'll need as a result, or whether you can have the HKS unit overhauled over there? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Steve,

I have verified with 2 clutch companies - both say that the clutch you need is just the 7MGTE clutch as long as you use the R154 tranny. So you can choose any "MK3 Supra Turbo" clutch you want - RPS, ACT, Spec, etc. We carry many options here for you.
