Hi all, wonder if you can help, i am trying to connect my new stereo/dvd to the suup using lead pc9-411 (for active system) from halfords.
I have connected by by-passing the amp before but thought that as my amp on the new suup has no interferance why not use it? (unless anyone thinks its just a waste of space)

can you just let me know if the below is how its done?

Kenwood harness supplied with headunit.

this plugg into one of the three sockets next to the passenger side footwell?
(any idea which one?)

http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/8026/dscn07654dg.th.jpg (http://img32.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dscn07654dg.jpg)

then this plugg into the harness supplied by kenwood with the stereo?
(but means there will be an empty socket on the harness, is this correct?)

then the speaker wires left & right (from the pc9-411) into 'funnily enough', left & right on the back of headunit.

cheers in advance peeps!!!

stock amp is a bit pants - its 1990's technology

iirc its about 15 watts per channel!

most head units are 50W per channel nowadays!

15w per channel, thats pretty shite!?...... it just sounded loud an bass'y (wiv stock stereo) so thought it was half decent.............

my new head unit is 50w per channel, think i will just bypass then!!?
