im sure its a simple answer but i cant find it out

With regards to the ignition barrel, it seems that there are two types?

A raised one?

attachment.php?attachmentid=21309

and not a raised one?

attachment.php?attachmentid=21306

pics stolen from Nic, hope its ok

am o going mad or are there actually 2 types? if so i take it, if one was to swap a raised dash part with a not raised one then it wont fit?

Cheers

 now you've got me confused :conf: looking at the first 2 photos again I think it's actually the other way around to what I first said, they both stick out. I think it is the shadow on the second photo that is making it looked recessed. I've just parcelled up the part so can't double check but pretty sure that is what the confusion is. Both photos were taken in the dark so the shadows are doing funny things.

Yes it will fit okay, as all the ignition panels are the same fit, the only differences between the models is the finish and the fact that some have holes for switches to the right of the ignition barrel.
