Hi,

I got this far and I can find the live and earth to solder the Thor FCD but I am not sure which is the wire I need to solder the in/out.

is it the black and yellow or is it the grey and red?

I am almost sure it is the black and yellow but looking at THOR insturction I need the wire from the bottom row and 2nd wire to the last slot.

does that yellow plug thing count as one slot?

job done :)

soldered and tested by pulling it apart and couldn't. Put heat shrink over and covered with insulate tape.

Now I know a little bit more about my supra and after an hour of mission impossible style working at footwell head first I also know I am getting old :)

You got to respect the supra, if I haven't crashed my first one I could have had my single turbo and many other mod by now :(

At least I lived to tell the story.

hey, handy thread this, as I'll be doing this tomorrow morning also. Not relishing the thought of spending an hour or so in the footwell though lol

Must say China, I've seen better soldering lol, at least it worked ok though :)

Hope I can find my heatshrink...

going head first into the footwell and with less then 4" of wire to play with I think that was a mission impossible. Thanks god I am a drug lord not an electrician :)

I did try and pull the solder join apart by hand but couldn't so I guess it should stay put for a good while.

Good luck chilli, I nearly did my back in doing that, never again.

Thanks china, sounds like I'm gonna need it then! did you have to pull insulation off the standard loom in order to get to the wiring? guess I'll be finding out tomorrow anyway...

Out of interest, I assume you took power from the ecu loom, did you also take ground, or did you attatch it to the bodywork somewhere?

PS what does the fields harness give you then? I though it was only handy when plumbing in say a piggy back ecu, is it more useful than that?

Ground I use the wire from the Speed delimiter already installed and the rest I followed the printed instructions
