Ok the car's going to go in for a complete service of every fluid in the car... Can anyone recommend what fluids i should use say on the gearbox, power steerting etc etc ? I want to change everything, for the winter runs...
Many thanks...
Craig.
You could change various oils...
Engine Oil -5.5litres- Valvoline 5w50 is highly recommended, Castrol RS10w60 a close 2nd
Gearbox Oil -2 cans...- ONLY Toyota V160 oil Don't use anything else.
Diff Oil - Pass...could someone please fill in this blank ATF 75/90??
Powersteering fluid - 1-2L - ATFII Mobil1 is what I was given by Toyota.
Brake Fluid -1litre - Motul RBF600R
Coolant - 10L's - Toyota Red label - believe that 4Life stuff is good too.

Thanks Alex.. That's a great help...
I don't think the Diff oil's ever been changed on the car ! Is this a normal service item ?
Thanks..

Leon changed mine recently, the cars done less than 50,000 and the oil that came out was black!
Only difference I noticed was in my pocket... I'm sure the diff apreciated it though :)

Sorry Craig, I don't know what he used but I don't remember it being anything special.
I can't tell you how much because I had loads of other bits done at the same time.
