Homer
The one on the left is the Intercooler, the one on the right a gearbox oil cooler. Only auto's have the oil cooler.

carl0s
I thought the autobox cooler was integrated in the main rad? or is that an autobox cooler as opposed to an autobox oil-cooler?
JohnA
The UKSpec autobox has too coolers. It also has the rear-diff cooler. It's a cool car, what can I say?! lol...
Pete
Is it worth retro fitting an oil cooler for the box? (Can you?) Toyota obviously thought it was neccessary in blighty.
JohnA
It wouldn't hurt, that's for sure. If you drive the car hard, or do the odd powerbrake then it would really help. Remember that people who run high-bhp cars with high-stall converters need to fit more (and bigger) transmission coolers. Dude had three I think. As for the rear-diff cooler, that is probably overkill
