Looks good. Can you get the blind over it all properly?? And i take it you lost the spare.

Glenn, if you don't mind using grey imports (i.e. no warranty), have a look at www.indoaudio.com or www.carmedia1.com - I've used both before and the service is extremely good, as well as cheap! :D

Need to know your sub and speaker specs (inc. power ratings) first mate.

btw, if you paypal carmedia1, their shipping takes 2 to 3 days :)

Seeing as you've got JBL subs, how about the JBL GTO75.4 to power the 4 speakers, and the JBL GTO601.1 to power the subs (wire the subs to show 2ohm)? Comes in at just shy of £250

Bob

The Rockford ones you mention will

a.) underpower the subs
b.) only power two of the speakers!

heres a couple of things, i manged to keep my spare and if you want to move the blind up you can do it by taking off the carryers and moving them to the trim holding holes just behind and up alittle from the originals(but you will also need to trim a coulpe of mm off each end of the blind rod).

i know you should go by the performance of the amps and not the looks but seeing as my install shows off everything i want amps that i like the look of as well and TBH im not to keen on the jbl amps . what do you think about the crunch amps, they seem very powerfull for the money???

They would do the trick, as the JBL subs are 2ohm dvc so should be getting enough.

Your front speakers would be a little underpowered but not so much to really worry about.

Know what you mean about the JBL amps too :)

they do a slighty more powerfull amps for only another £20

They would be fine mate :) You can wire the subs to show 4ohm, bridge the channels, and they'll still get more than enough power each (better than not enough).

nice 1.. the only thing, it doesnt say if the watt rating is rms or peak tho for those amps

Bob
08-09-05, 14:46
Good point. Possibly peak then, in which case they're nowhere near powerful enough :(

looks like my search continues. any other good amps on that site ???
