I have an issue with boost control via a DSBC.

The wastegate works fine for definate...but when attached to the DSBC I get run away boost......till it missfire's.

How can I tell if the DSBC solenoid unit is working??

Can a DSBC (Old type) run a wastegate like an HKS unit?

If it can run it have I made an error in it's setup? The Set is at 0 at the moment and the gain is on 20...the point was to get to the same boost as normal (1.1bar) faster.

With a setting of 0 will it just sit there and not control the boost?

hmmm just read there is a switch on the back of the unit for Actuator or wastegate mode - if that's true hopefully it's set to the wrong setting (ie actuator)...

that will be it, if it is set for internal it will not control.

Actuator mode for the 2 hose system
Wastegate mode for the 3 hose system (which is how mine is connected)

What a n00b....will try to check and :gulp: test tonight.
