hi me again,

simple one for most - one of my headlights has discoloured  - is it a case of removing the headlamp and putting in the oven or simply sanding the outside casing meaning its a 5 min job to restore it to its former clear glory!?!?

try Brasso first. If the fade is on the outside this should work.

I use: NOVUS - Fine Scratch Remover - Restores Original Appearance to Plastics.

Boy does it work well! Takes a few applications but from when I purchased the car to now, the difference is huge.

Dood its gonna be on the inside. Some cooking of the light is going to be required to get the sealant off. search up in technical I'm sure there is a step by step in there. Otherwise flog out a few quid and get spanking new lovely glass ones.

I got my Novus from the previous owner of the car, chucked in all his gear for me.

But I've found the same stuff for sale here:

Novus (http://www.pinballheaven.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=78)

You will be able to clean the outside of the light cover, but to get them MINT/as new is an oven jobbie!

Thats the next step for me!

because they are so rare. You can't get them new from toyota which only leaves you second hand off cars that dont need them anymore ie smashed
