Still thudding - left rear wheel assembly

Hello again,

A week ago I posted a problem - a thudding sound coming from the back each time i hit a minor defect in the road. Well I changed the drop links today on the rear and was disappointed to find the noise remains.

On doing up the wheel nuts for both rears, I noticed that the rear left wheel rocks back and forth, and it is this that produces the thudding! When tightening the rear right, the whole wheel remains locked and there is no movement to allow the thudding noise to occur.

Can anyone help please? - otherwise its the garage for mechanics attention for my Sup.

check your wheel bearing i think that could be the cause of your problem.

thanks just checked it but its tight - could be a worn pin bearing just behind the big nut??? (i dont have a socket large enough to fit over it!)...are they easy to replace?
