17" silver alloys and UK-spec brakes

Got my TT last week, totally bog standard J-spec. Currently has 16" anthracite alloys with 225s on the front and 245s on the back, with an offset of 50.

I want better handling/braking... J-spec brakes don't seem to match the power of the engine and small wheels/tyres make the back end feel a bit loose for my liking.

I want to get a set of 17" silver alloys which will fit 245s on the front, and 265s on the back, and have enough room for UK-spec brakes. Want an offset of 50... what exactly do I need and where do I get them?

Have no idea how much this is gonna cost! Where do I start looking? I'm a student so I ain't got much cash.

Am I best getting 2nd hand alloys and new brakes?

Anyway...

the Standard UK Supra wheels (or later Jap =same !)

are the cheapest way to your goal.

17's which will take ~245(255?) front and 275(i had 285's...JUST !) rear

and are MADE to go over the larger brake calipers.

Otherwise, the lads/lasses on here will pop up with Aftermarket (DEARER!)

options.......
