Yaris G/box issue [Archive] - The mkiv Supra Owners Club

I recently bought my son a "T" plate Yaris with relatively low miles (60k) and a FSH. He has told me that he is having a problem engaging reverse and finds it goes in after several clutch presses and a litel force.

Any idea as to what might be the problem?

Tell him to not try and slam it into reverse at 60mph... has he been watching dad drive??? or perhaps he has forgotten about the clutch.....

Just kidding... the clutch cable could require adjustment....
