Why does it need to be that Kenwood one? Plenty of crossover units out there :)

Matt,

I'm not aware of any other 80Hz passive x-over? but if you know of any.......?
(+ i've already got 1 of them & need another, but i'll swap if needs be)

Cheers

So basically it takes a left/right input, and splits each into highs (>80hz) and lows (<80hz)?

TBH you could make your own for a few pennies with some resistors and capacitors:)

If you went for an active crossover unit you could have a nice flexible range of frequencies too instead of limited to just one

Matt,

You cant make decent 2+way x-overs with just resistors and caps unfortunately. You need a coil and at that freq will need to have a decent amount of henry's.

This x-over is only about £40pr which is about what i could probably make one for + all the hassel and then try and match it the other one i've already got (which i doubt i could) so i'll have to build 2.

I dont want to go active due to the extra weight, space taken and current drain, so i'm holding out for one of these :(

Any other thoughtmore than welcome though
