I quite fancy having a go at this. Thought about sorting one out when i saw the place at Bovingdon.

There is a truly great one near me that I can easily sort a day out for everyone :thumbs: Good marshalls, good guns, and good arenas. £55 for gun hire, mask hire, camo hire, full day (abotu 10-12 games) and 1000 balls...

Been to that place before - It's good and the marshalls are very good. They have loads during the game and will not miss too much and they award people for certain shots every round. Its a good site - lots of games and obstacles. Always recommend this place.

Let me ask my mate who went up a couple of weeks ago about the the entrance road to the site as it is bumpy and uhm..... a dirt track.

Trouble withe Paint-ball is that nearly everyone will want either black or silver. They'll pick on all the people with red paint who, in turn, will pick on those with white paint. We'll all be picked off though by someone with a nice unique paint.

im up for it. i have been to this place 4 times before and it rocks. normaly costs about £70 for a good day, but it is an awsome day

we realy need to do this, but they do ask for a £10 per head deposit. so ether costs some one to arrange or need 10 quid up front.

Urrrrrgh Tippmans :( I thought it would be. Bog all accuracy and a couple of misfires a game thrown in for free - chopped ball scuppering your game an occasional bonus.
Shame people don't consider the Necton one just because it's not off a motorway :( £10 cheaper for the day, and £250 compressed air guns instead of £50 CO2 ones...
Still, I'll go to this one if someone else is organising it ;)

more the better i would say !!!!
cost of paint depends on how much you buy, cheapest way is to buy it in 1000s then split it up then it is about £6 per 100. if you can get 11 people 1 of them goes free.
I fancy it too. Is there an age restriction? Could my son join me?

The bookings will be done by the individuals but you need to get a list and a date for the event before we start booking.
I have booked parties with these lot and its all too easy to arrange as you just have to pay the deposit and then the rest on the day.

right every body i talked to the bloke who runs NRG paint ball, he said that as long as we make a booking and pay a deposit for a start(say about 4 people), then we get a booking ref number, that i can then post on the forum and any one who wants to come rings them up, quotes that number and pays their own deposit and joins in.
ps. this is a really cool place massive field and no out of bounds :thumbs: :clap:

I can vouch for airsoft. Have played tournement paintball in my younger years and discovered airsoft a year ago. Hurts more and sometimes causes more damage, but very cool with the guns. Have MP5 and M4 in the spare room under the bed :D
Good place in Reading, and if anyone who doesn't mind pain i know a brilliant place near Islington.

I do recommend this place - great site and they have just extended their playing field too. :)

yes i am cool with doing the booking as long as i get at least 3 other deposits,
i recommend we do the £65 package, that gets the equipment, 1000 paint and a smoke grenade , you will use at least 1000 paint so the cheaper packages are not worth it.

oh to answer your question CJ - nope not yet.
I have real issues with airsoft, because it seems to be entirely based around "I'm pretending I'm in the army/SWAT/Spec Ops and I've got all the costumes and toy guns, look at me look at me!" whereas paintball is entirely based around real tactics and real combat and isn't pretending to be something it's not...
Plus paintball hurts and leaves a paint splat. Airsoft is "bang bang you're dead! no I shot you first! No you never!" and I stopped playing that a loooong time ago ;)
But then I have all my gun fantasies fulfilled already lol :D :looney:

Nope, but I have a pair of paintball handguns :D They work as often as a TVR though :mad:

Paintball? Yeeha!! Count me in. Ive been a couple of times to two different ones in Kent, Sidcup and Brands Hatch. The latter site would be great: really good firm but fair marshalls, funny too, also Supra friendly car park. Might have to take another car to bring back all the muddy boots!

Yep can vouch for that. You can bring your own guns to this site as long as its not an angel. They only allow you to use that style gun or rapid fire on specific days.
When you book Rob pm me and I will call up and pay a deposit.

Hi just to let you all know my girlfriend is arranging a paintball day out on the 21 st july at Hamburger Hill Bristol, Keynsham, anyone and everyone is welcome to join in.
were planing a full day, we get 2 meals each over the day, 600 paintballs and the equipment roughly works out at £45 let us know if any of you are intrested we have 20 people going already and building !!! It will be a good game !

I went to paintball for a mates birthday last weekend... 54 confirmed bruises/marks from paintballs.
that does not include the 4 shots on my left hand, or the gun and head shots!! Wicked fun!! Last game, no teams, is always the best game!!!
