Have noticed there are a few members around in this area now.
How about we try to organise a mini meet somewhere round here??
Any thoughts?
I am up for that, we should definitly all meet up and convoy down to Trax together. There has to be at least 10 Supra Owners in the Northants Area. Bill Prawn and Sedge are both members on here and live in Northants.

I'm up for a mini meet. My loc says leicester but i'm nearer northampton. I know a pub that welcomes car meets. Used to be big with the bike clubs, vintage car clubs etc. Big car park, big beer garden, nice location. Fitzgerald arms in Naseby. :shrug:

Just spoken to landlord of above mentioned pub. He's well up for it. Can corden off 10-15 spaces in large rear car park if we wanted. Just needs to know rough sort of date and numbers etc.

I think either a saturday afternoon or an evening in the week would be cool. Personally i'd prefer an evening. I work saturday nights!

19th through to 22nd is cool! Shall we see how much interest we get, then decide on a date that suits most between those dates? Its a central location for the leicester / coventry people too. Northampton 15 miles, leicester 15 miles, coventry 20 miles. Right next to A14 too.

Anytime on Sunday the 18th would be excellent. Northampton General Hospital carpark is more or less empty on Sunday's, i should know i work there. :cry:
If you want we could meet, and go from there. Its quite easy to find if you dont know the area, just follow the A&E signs on the A45. :thumbs:

I would prefer Sunday 18th as I work away In London during the week. At least on a sunday we have alot of daylight hours so we can view and enjoy each others cars. Towards the end of sept and in the evening, the light will be bad and it will probably be dark by 8pm.
Surely sunday afternoon would be better., however i am easy.

Ok can we put a list of dates people can make, then go from there. The more we get the better
How about Sunday the 11th, we could meet at midday, what does everyone think? This way we will be able to meet, have a look at all the motors in the daylight, grab a drink and something to eat then depart our separate ways around about 5pm.
I dont think steve smarty can make the 11th. Also sundays are a really busy day for the venue, i need to think of convenience for them too. Cant really take their whole car park on a sunday. This is why i suggested an evening in the week. The big car park is flood lit, plus at the time of month we're looking at, it shouldn't be dark until 8.30 ish. We could meet there at 6pm as opposed to 7pm to get more daylight? They do great food from 7 onwards.
If you meant the 11th September then no i cant. If going to the pub on a Sunday afternoon is gonna be a problem is there any other locations people can think of??
Only time i can't make it is weekend 17th and 18th any other time should be ok, evening time during week sounds good.

I think the mk cruise sounds like the best idea. Some people couldn't make the original venue of the fitz in Naseby. We still need ideas for a meeting place somewhere near Mk (preferably a pub).
leicesters about 55mile from milton keynes. Is this no too far for the leicester lot?? can we not do a bit closer to northampton?. no worry if not possible. :D :shrug:

Sounds good to me... we could meet at the OLD TAlbot pub at potterspury on the A5 North of Milton Keynes but there are others further north but I don't know......could always meet at the Saracens Head in towcester thats also on the A5 but on the main cross roads in the center of towcester.....ummmm there is a couple of nice places further north from that but can't think......will take a run up the A5 and see whats there in a little while.......other suggestions as my little brain now hurts.......what time.......????????????????
Just a suggestion, we could meet up at either of the following places, Billing Mill Pub in Billing (Next to old JAE venue) or the Hungry Horse pub on Sixfields (Near J15A on M1). Both decent pubs that do good food with ample parking, a stone throw from the M1 aswell so ideal for the convoy down to MK

Just been down the A5 some nice options.......Just south of Weedon the Narrow Boat nice pub does food.....bit further down at Fosters Booth the Red Lion skip towcester parking is a mare although thee Folly opposite the race course is very good and the food is excellent......down to the Old Talbot at Potterspury food for the person with the larger appetite or at least it was.....but was always goo quality.....so just need to decide the best way to meet.......need to bare in mind need to arrive at the cruise about 7.00 or parking could prove to be a mare.....let me know.......
Well the people coming form Leicester way could meet the Northants people at Sixfields (like Vaughany said) then we could meet samsupra37 at Towcester. Then carry on to MK.

2nd October i think. Samsupra says we need to be a MK meet by 19.00 at the latest or it will be a nightmare. So shall we aim to meet at Towcester for 18.00. Northampton people can meet 17.00 then go form there.

2nd October is also the D1 drift day at Silverstone. All the professional drifters coming across from Japan with their cars which is a sight to see, so perhaps make a big day of it?
I will be going to the Drift day so will try and make Northampton after or MK if Im running late.

2nd Oct is good for me, meet at 5.00pm at the Hungry Horse Pub on sixfields, 6.00PM in Towcester, venue TBC and 7.00pm at MK. looking forward to it, lots of Supras pulling into the MK Cruise will definitely turn some heads - CANT WAIT

Hi guys/gals, just got back from Spain. I am still coming to this, wasnt the plan for the Leicestershire guys toi either go straight to Towcester for a 18.00 meet or to meet with the Northampton guys at 17.00 at Sixfields then convoy along to Towcester.

Best place to meet at 18.00 in Towcester is the Folly Pub which is located directly opposite the Towcester race course. So coming south you will drive through Towcester town center as you come out the other side the race course is on your left and the pub is on your right..Unless any one has any other ideas.....look forward to meeting you all then!!! :ecstatic:

Hello Mate, yeh I definitely am attending, I thought we were meeting in the Hungry Horse Carpark. For those who dont know this is opposite the large carpark next that caters for Cannons/Pizza Hut etc.
The idea of this I think was so we can go into the pub and grab a drink etc.

As much as I would like to attend I am not going to be able to. I have work to do on the MR2 this weekend, exhaust removal, refitting, induction kit removal and old system fitting......clean/polish...amongst all the norm or weekend bits. :blahblah:

Well it was really good to meet everyone today, general opinion was it was good to see real cars down at the cruise for once, may be we could do it again just in the summer.....not so cold then.....had to come home to defrost......but it was dry and sunny for a while and we couldn't complain at that.
Look forward to seeing you all again next weekend at the pod..... ;)

You got your Supra from someone in Naseby? Any idea who? I'm a Naseby boy. My folks have lived there 20 odd years. I think another Northants/Leics mini meet would be a cool idea in the summer. I now have a great venue we can use. Car park for 100 cars, big beer garden. Regular Skyline meets there too. :)
