Got my socket set out yesterday

I got my new facelift headlights yesterday (thanks Nic). I'm quite happy pulling the interior of a car apart, but have never spent much time attacking the engine bay area, so Keith was in full supervisory mode whilst I attempted to fit the lights.

After getting the airbox off and briefly removing the battery a successful installation was complete, which resulted in me feeling quite chuffed with myself. Today we'll be doing the new gas struts for the boot :)

Look much better, I despise plastic headlights.

They are still placcy ones, just not yellow. Give them a couple of years and they'll be like the old ones again :)

They way the car is I don't think the glass ones would suit, plus there'd be added aggro of changing the wiring etc.

Peter - I know what you mean, I blame the dodgy photographer :) They look fine in the flesh.

There's something really wierd about the way the headlights are jiggled out of the car. You really couldn't describe the sequence of tilts in any way, I suppose it's a bit like flying a helicopter, you don't know what you're doing but you just keep moving things.

Really? I assumed you would do, because of the sidelight.
Ah! TBH I was forgetting that the facelift Supras don't have a sidelight in the headlight. Yeah then, that would have to be sorted out if you wanted the sidelight in the UK headlights to work in addition to your indicator sidelights.
