Sorry to dredge up a really old thread, but can anyone point me in the general direction of an idiots guide to removing the wing? can't seem to find one on here..

I'm guessing remove the plastic bit inside the boot underneath it? un-bolt, wiggle wing about a bit until it comes off, job done..? plug up the hold with gromits from Halfrauds....

OK, does the plastic bit just clip off or is that screwed on too?

Also when I've taken it off does it leave a horrible mess that I might need a body shop to sort out? or is it fairly clean?

any comments or help mucho appreciated.... :)

It is clipped in place although it is a bit tight, start on one end and work your way across.

Mine did, a hairdryer to remove the glue followed by some T cut removed the remainder of the residue.

I just did this on my Euro Spec Supra.

Remove the 13 clips in the boot, the plastic bit...

And it comes of, then there is 4 bolts to remove...

Then just gently pull up, and its stuck with some black glue...

In the middle of the 2 bolts on each side was 1 bolt pointing downwards.

Strange, but it wasent tighten or anything...just had that glue around them.

And its kinda dusty underneath, ...

Are you puting on a RMM/TRD Wing ?
