I have recently purchased a full decat for the jam jar, but not yet got the nur spec, but im gonna fit the decat, fcd and restrictor ring.. what kind of power increase am i looking at? will it be noticable? will it be safe?

Add, have you got a boost gauge fitted? If not you are going to need to fit one, so you know what boost you are making.

The decat should increase your boost, however your stock exhaust is quite restrictive, so you may not need the restrictor ring until you fit your new exhaust. Suggest you fit the decat and fcd and see what boost you are making, if it is above 1.1-1.2bar then you may need to fit the restrictor ring.

The difference you'll feel will depend on the boost you are making, the turbos should spin up quite a bit quicker and the car should feel a lot more 'lively'.

With the new exhaust, decat running at 1.1-1.2bar you will definitely feel a HUGE difference in performance and get an extra 50+hp at a rough guess.

Check the condition of your intercooler, if it is poor condition then it may well not be up to the job. You will also probably need to fit a cooler grade of spark plugs, as the increase in boost may cause misfire. I would also fit a new fuel filter and fuel pump.
