Jap DVD Player

Hi guys,

This is my 1st post, so hello!

I have just sold my MR2 Turbo and upgraded to a Supra RZ. The car is fresh from Japan and includes DVD player and Sat Nav... etc.

Now I understand that the TV will not work over here, nor will the sat nav, but will the DVD player play 'non reigon' discs? i.e. copied DVD's?

Also, i have heard that you can have the TV 'chipped' so that it works in the UK, any truth in that?

In my Soarer the OEM TV Tuner has been worked on and now receives UK TV, the same guy also does conversions so that the touch screen also has english instead of japanese for a lot of the functions.

The name is Luke on the Toyota Import Forums (http://www.toyotaimportsforum.co.uk/) I don't know whether he could do anything with your install but got to be worth asking anyway.
