some advice on turbos

this might be a very stupid question but when blades are missing off of a turbo charger are they unusable or will they just not be very good there is a blade broken on the shaft nearest to the exhaust manifold. :scare:

Unusable mate. Needs total rehaul.

It'll be out of balance, and will soon lead to a knackered shaft/bearing.

It will still drive....but you need to find a replacement.

Dangerous to use, if the impeller shatters, which it probably will, the remnaants CAN get drwn into the engine. Very common on Sylines, circa 7k bill....
