Anyone know what fault code 37 is from the t/c ecu?!

No, because it doesn't exist in the TRAC diagnostics or the ABS diagnostics.

Or, in fact the main ECU diagnostics?! You sure you read that code right?

Erm, No i didnt read it right. It was a 42. :conf:

How did you get 37 instead of 42?! You got a long blink or something ;)

Anyway:

Main ECU = No1 speed sensor
ABS ECU = doesn't exist
Trac ECU = doesn't exist

So I suspect you are reading your main ECU error codes, not the trac one?

Ok, i just tried again. No fault codes on main ecu, but trac ecu fault seems to be reading 32, not 37. Does a 32 exist on trac? I think i'd had a glass of red wine last night, or two.

Good lord man, work with me here!

ABS ECU says Left Front Wheel Sensor
Trac ECU says the same thing.

So, it's yer left front wheel sensor, or more to the point, the signal from that isn't reaching the ECU so it's either buggered sensor, damaged wiring, or knackered plug. Perhaps it, too, has been on the red wine ;)

I think the confusion came from not resetting the ecu first. Basically i took fuses out for a min, then re-checked faults. Main ecu had no faults, abs had none, but trac had the 32. And now i know what that means. Ian, you're a technical legend!! :notworthy

Easy tiger, I'm only reading stuff out of a PDF :)

Get this, right - the way to clear the ABS and TRAC ecu of fault codes is - while the light is flashing the codes up, hit the brake pedal 8 times within 3 seconds! The light will pause and then start it's regular half second blinks.

I think that's really cool, no idea why though
