ardasaliah
Hi guys - took my car in for an alignment on all wheels today. The guy spent two half hours trying to get the setting right. He manage to sort the rears out (camber/caster and toe)- but struggled on the fronts The front toe and caster are OK, but the camber settings are out. He found it very difficult to get all the settings right as they kept moving from position. Anyway the current incorrect camber settings are Left Front camber -1'12 Right front camber -1'22 They should be between 0'25 and -1'.05 Would these settings cause any extra wear- the garage seems to think not? Do you think I should take it back? ArdZ

Exlpination:- the suspension has an expected range allowed by the coil rate, this rate will deliver the 'dynamic' camber position assuming the camber is at its mid point position.... on bump -1 deg.05 max, off bump +25' min.... Take it back!
blitz supra
Hi Try camber Adustment bolts they go in the Front strut bottom of strut but upper bolt where the hub meets the strut I used these on my FTO they sorted me out I had -1 deg cos it had been lowered, fitted these and was back to 0.00 But they must be fiited correct way around, yes you can get it wrong Originally they were a USA thing to sort accident damage out I got mine from Camskill http://www.camskill.co.uk talk to Mike but most good alignment centres should know what these are About £20.00 a set
Chris Wilson
The Supra JZA80 is a double wishbone front suspension, altering the angle of the damper has no effect on camber or castor.
