Spraying Carbon Fibre

Just been to see a guy I use for bodywork and mentioned to him that I was thinking of getting a CF bonnet, probably the top secret.

I have a white car so i was going to have the bonnet sprayed the same color as the car, but he reckoned that after a while (6 months) the finish would go pretty cack.

I then asked about the fibreglass version, he said it would be a good finish, but heavy.

Has anyone had experience of sprayed Carbon Fibre parts and if the finish goes cack after a while?

I have had loads of CF bodied race cars in my time, none have cracked. Howver, if the bonnet is a horrible affair, like most aftermarket carbon stuf, without proper stiffening sections bonded in underneath, then it will flex like mad. In which case either don't buy it, or buy and stiffen it, or perhaps use a plasticiczer in the paint. 90% of Skyline carbon bonnets weigh more than a stock one, so it seems crazy to me.
