ROCKETMAN
Recently removed/installed new head unit. The heating controls do not illuminate or function now. My old head unit was a Double-din Kenwood which I sold to Todd. On top of the unit was a white plastic box with three plugs attached. Should I have re-attached this box? Are there any common causes for this or do I just remove the dash and re-check all connections? The heater controls were okay prior to dash removal. Pete
Do you mean the plastic boxes attached to the cage? Brown and Cream. Yes you need then! If memory serves me one is something to do with your ABS (Denso written on it?)
ROCKETMAN
Aye, they were attached to the cage mate. Think I kept the brown one, Todd is returning the white one with ABS on it. Need to get the dash off and double check, just don't want to fcuk up new install-head unit with Cameter underneath. The ICE folk had to make a special fit as aperture was larger than standard DDin. Thanks for the info Rogue, much appreciated.
