Toms Supra
i want to get some bigger injectors, probably vortex`s plug and play jobbies, whats best to run them. I was thinking of getting apexi S-AFC II would this be ok? Does this require mapping? Greddy emanage does doesnt it?? Im not sure whats best? Im only running hybrids atm but plan to go single soon just want to sort out the little jobs first.
Steve
I had 650cc injectors fitted yesterday by Matt Harwood and Mig. I went with the emanage to control them. I think the emanage has more control over the SAFC.
Alex
The title says "best". Do you want the best or the cheapest that will "do the job"??
Steve
If you want the best between the two go with the emanage
JustGav
emanage all the way, much more accurate.... Plus you can fiddle with ignition timing and fuel timing later on if you ever mod further... Gav
Toms Supra
Both Alex! lol Im on a tight budget! Anything will do just to run them! Ok best place to get emanage then if I got it with everything needed? And how big a job is it to fit? i dont know who could map it round here im down in Dorset! Everyone seems up north! lol
JustGav
It all depends on what you are adding... If it is initially only injectors then it is a fairly easy job, as easy as installing the SAFC....the emanage intercepts pretty much the same wires... in fact in some cases, you can even buy a fields harness with all the wires install, but they are a little pricey... Steve
I think Nic could get the new emanage ultimate at a good price in Hong Kong
JustGav
Yeah the emanage ultimate is the best way to go.... around £350 I think, and it will last you a good while with mods
Steve
Gav, did you get yours working ok in the end?
JustGav
Mine is in and working, I'm still having the subtle issue of my MAF sensor hitting the end of its resolution, however below that it is running sweetly... The target AF seems to be working well, just need to solve the other prob... Gav
