Hi guys, off to view this one (4th one down, silver) tomorrow morning - can anyone tell me if it's a good price, other things to look out for at that age, etc.?

Cheers!

Its been up for a couple of months i'm sure as it was around when i was looking for mine (i just wanted a black one)

Just go there with an open mind and make a point of finding anything slightly wrong with it to get some money off.

Having a read through this http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=23259 may also help you (if you havent seen it already)

Bob, see if there is a member local to the car that could come along with you, it is always useful to have someone with experience of what a Supra should look/sound/drive like along when viewing a car.

It's very difficult from the advert to say if it is a good'un or not. When you view it, ask as many questions about the car as you can and write down as much info about it as possible, you should get a feel then of how genuine the owner/car is. Also take a camera with you and get some shots of the interior, engine bay, wheels, brakes etc.

Before parting with cash, post up more info and photos here, as this may help determine if the car is worth going for or not. Best advice would be to take your time, there should be a lot of cars out there to choose from.

Ended up taking the missus with me (sometimes people who know sod all about cars can be great for finding faults!) to see the car.

Followed the guidelines from the FAQ, even had a look undernath. Despite the high mileage (78k miles), there is no smoke at cold idle, warm idle, or WOT even on the road, and the only fault I could find was a few rust specks where the skirts join the drivers side bodywork.

Had a good think about it, and then I BOUGHT IT!!! :ecstatic: :ecstatic: :ecstatic:

Pick her up either Wednesday or Thursday, can't wait! :D

All for the princely sum of £8500 :D

Dont think it has a body kit, just a bigger front spoiler fitted to the stock front bumper and toyota factory option skirts and spats :) Velly nice

It's also had a UK spec bonnet scoop fitted.

Congratualations Bob
