Racelogic Traction Control (RLTC) ... How much and where from ??? :innocent: After reading the other thread about spinning I have ben thinking about it for a while as I tend tolose the back in the wet and it gets scary seeing your back end next to you when your least expecting it !!!

Question is how do you loose the back end.... is it through trailing throttle (going into a corner not on the power and not on the brakes) or trail-braking (entering a corner on the brakes) or is it through power oversteer?

Only the last scenario will RLTC help you out if you're always too heavy on the accelerator.

I find the Supra to be an easy car to drift and find it strange when people say it snaps out. The Supra has a long wheel base and even on very slippery surfaces I've never had it snap out. But then I tend to drift my car all over the place and I guess I'm used to it. ;-)

But with ANY RWD car you have to be smooth with the power when going round corners even in the dry if you're wanting to go fast.

Agree with Aji the Supra is a very predictable car when you reach/step over the limits of traction. Getting the right suspension set up is critical to traction, there must be so many cars riding around on worn bushes, knackered dampers and too firm suspension set too low.

Fitting new suspension and bushes absolutely transformed my cars handling and grip levels. I was shocked at teh difference as it made me realise just how bad my suspension/handling was before. In the DRY now I actually find it very difficult to loose traction when pushing into and out of a corner now and I am by no means a slow driver. With my old suspension I use to get wheel spin accelarating in 1st 2nd and 3rd, now I only get slight wheel spin when changing agressively into 2nd with the new set up, you can read more comments [thread=34663]HERE[/thread]

A good set of tyres are also critical in getting good traction.
