Perfomance Upgrade

Hi

I got a celica gt4 at the moment its running 298.4bhp @1bar but will be running over 300 by the end of the month

loooking to down size slightly to a 3litre v6 NA Supra....there so beautiful....unfort i do like my speed as well..but my GT4 costs me upwards off £60 a week so i was thinking perhaps downgrade to a NA Supra...itl look nice just wont be that fast...

off the top of my head was thinking what can you do to it....other than air filter and exhaust..perhaps some cams - inlet n exhaust, get it remapped (piggyback ecu) maybe some supercharger from a lexus or something?

just some thoughts flying about...open to for discussion really just wanted to get more of an insight...also any idea what insurance group they are?mine is 18 at the moment and an import.not a nice premium at all!

Welcome to the board. Not a lot you can do to an NA Supra, but it has been discussed several times. A search should turn up all you need to know.

You're going the same way I did....I just got pissed off at driving the GT4 and wondering when something was gonna break!! Very flawed design IMO. Changed to a NA Supra and wouldn't turn back....
Would say that if GT4 hadn't sucked vast amounts of cash from my wallet, I would have gone for a TT, but I find the NA quick enough. Classier looking ride too
