turbo timer wiring

just noticed this morning that the timer didn't kick in & the engine stopped & the other day it also almost did the same but managed to catch itself, if you know what i mean, to keep idling for the 30 second countdown it had calculated

could this be a dodgy ground connection?

i wired it to the same ground connection as the kph>mph converter chip which is a screw on the back of the speedo clock :eyebrows:
