To people with 19" wheels on Supes

Couple of questions as it doesn't look like I can et any 18"'s to fit over mt AP 6 pot brakes.

1. Does it do much to the ride in terms of hardness and handling or was there no noticeable difference?

When I say hardness I mean due to the fact that there is less of a wall height in the tyre. Any trouble in the wet?

2. What tyres sizes do you guys use on 19"s?

Cheers

Justin

I changed my suspension at the same time i put the 19s on so they probably cancelled one another out. Suppose it depends on what you want you car for really. I have kept a spare set of wheels for trackdays so when i do my next trackday ill be able to compare the 2 properly.

When i imported the car it had crap tyres on in the first place and now it grips like hell, especially in the wet (however the tyres i put on were not cheep).

285/30/19 on 10" rears

245/35/19 on 8.5" fronts

bridgestone Potenza RE050`s

surley there must be some 18`s somewhere that will go over them. I am sure i have seen it before, what about some blitz wheels?

I didnt notice much difference in handling, but then i havent been on a track and dont tend to push it overly hard around bends.

I use 275/35 on the rear and 235/30 on the front. Recently had the car lowered on rsr's, excellent fit around the arches and does feel alot stiffer on the road.

Yet still no overly harsh ride.

You can take a drive when we get together for the bonnet swap.
