Hi everyone, I collected my Supra from JPS yesterday after having a PHR Stage 1 fitted. The work I had completed was as follows

PHR Stage 1 Turbo Kit

P.E 650CC Injectors

HKS Super Sequential BOV

HKS Type R Intercooler

Mocal Oil Cooler

Mocal Transmission Cooler

Oil Temp Guage and AEM AFR Guage and sensor

Hose Techniques Kit

Mapping of Emanage

Full service, all the fluids etc

The car has been mapped at 1.4 bar by Leon and made 470bhp and 435lb torque at the hubs. I have really had a chance to road test the car fully but at 1.1 bar it is alot faster than when I was BPU.

Here are the pictures

Not much happens below 3000 revs but from then on, it really picks up going from 200lb of torque at 3000 revs to 436lb of torque by 4200revs.

It is alot quicker than BPU and I have only been at 1.1bar so far, more road testing to come.

Speak to JohnK, he supplied me with mine, and it is great for just keeping the heat out the engine bay... forces it to stay inside the turbo and as such pushed out the exhaust...

I found my single used to heat the engine bay up something silly...

Can't really go wrong with a big tea cosy...

CJ and I both have a JohnK creation..

Hi Alex

Leon supplied the heat shield so I have no idea what it is made of but he can and does supply more. Leon mapped the car at thor's so I am sure they worked on it together but I am not sure. Also I will post up the Dyno sheet tomorrow.

cheers

Sorry they are abit late but here are the dyno sheets of my recent conversion. Everything seems to be spot on and looking at my old dyno sheets that I had done when BPU.

The BHP and Torque lines are at 0.85, 1.2 and 1.4bar.

The delivery of power once I am above 2500rpm is quicker and much stronger. Was it worth the money - DEFINITELY

I like the look of that heat shield for the brake lines, me want :)

A neat install. Good AFRs too apart a little iffy having 14.5 to 15:1 before 3500, as you are seeing up to 0.8bar boost - but it sorts itself out after that

Blimey...have to say the power figures look reasonable too - as in not silly!

At 6,000rpm you can see it tailing off I'm guessing that say a nice pair of 264's would keep the power rising to the end ;) (with no real negative trade off)

Hi Alex

I think the cams are next followed closely by an uprated auto gearbox. I would like to say I would be done there but this addiction is biting.

Good lad ;)

Hmmm we're on similar setups would be good to see if I can get my EBC hooked up soon and dyno run at similar boost levels.

The problem with mapping it yourself is that you're never happy enough with it to actually bite the bullet and go for it...
