A friend of mine wants to do an oil change on his R33 Skyline but does not know what is the best oil to use for this i.e. brand and viscosity any help welcome

Most good 10w40, 10w50, 5w50, 10w60 will do the job (fully syn)

Motul V300 is a nice choice, Royal Purple, Millers, Valvoline VR1 etc etc.

Assuming its a GTR:

Motul 300V Power 5w40 or Competition 15w50
Silkolene Pro S 10w50
Mobil 1 Motorsport 15w50

Are the oils of choice. 10w60/10w40 are not really recommended. But 10w50, 15w50, 5w40 should all be ok.

Yeah it is a GTR but it has an R34 engine in it, dont suppose you know where to get the oil and filter from do you?

Filter you can get from any Nissan dealer mate, have a look here:

Theres an oil change guide at the bottom which contains the part number :cool:

The oil IMHO is best got from Oilman (Simon) @ Opie Oils. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/lubricants.htm (unless you want Mobil 1 Motorsport in which case you can get it in Halfords).
