I only get 260sih to a tank when using Optimax. Hmm me thinks somat aint right...
Not at all. Mine was all crusing down the motorways at 6am. 60 miles each way, rarely having to slow down or accellerate and more often than not nevering actually having to stop at any junctions/roundabouts either. 260 seems reasonable for town driving or a spirited driving style.

In the last week of driving up and down motorways, I've managed 640km on £60.

Which I've just worked out is 400 miles, £60 is about 71.5 litres round here, which is 15.7 gallons - making it 25 mpg!!! That's not bloody bad!!!!

Maybe my odo overreads by 30% I don't know but I'm still pleased!!!

Only had my Supra for a couple of weeks now but I've been keeping an eye on the fuel consumption (filling to top and recording miles), the first tank I got 22mpg which I was quite happy with on a mixture of motorway driving and town driving, since I had just got the car and was testing it out a little I thought things could only get better, but the last couple of tanks have been 17mpg and 18mpg on Optimax, I think it's about 270 miles on a full tank, pretty steep! I have found it seems to be a LOT more economical on the motorway though, I can get about 100 miles out of a quarter tank n the motorway according to the fuel gauge.

That sounds about right - I used to get 400miles for a tank driving economically - I found that the MPG doesn't necessarily drop that much because of town driving but more because you can't resist giving the accelerator a little squeeze every now and then!
