Hi all,

I`m new to the forum and looking at buying my first Supra.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the difference in bph between the `94 turbo and non-turbo versions.

0-60 speeds for the 2 would also be helpful.

Thanks for your time!

From what I've read on this forum, the J-spec is quicker, being lighter and with bigger, ceramic turbos. I'm sure CJ will correct me if I'm wrong. ;)

No I'll correct ya ;) Same size turbos, but ceramics with a different bladed compressor wheel (larger blades) which spool quicker but are not as strong.

If that leaves you even more confused well ... :littled:

The turbos are different, the Jap ones are a bit bigger.

however, the exact wording was "From what I've read on this forum", I didn't comment on whether I agree or not :sly:

The Jspecs have smaller exh A/R and the transmission has shorter gearing, so to me it's no wonder they feel quicker (and probably are quicker at lower speeds)

As for the 'lower weight', don't get me started on what's missing... :blahblah: :blahblah: :p

The boys on supraforums are all yanks, most of them havent seen or driven a J-spec car. However, i m not saying one is better than the other and as far as i have heard, the UK/US car is a tad faster (but dont quote me on that)

cheers
