Mileage Display?

Evening people,

To the left of the steering wheel there are 2 black displays, 1 above the other. Where the traction control displays when its turned off. Am i right in thinking that one of these should display the mileage on the car digitally? Only ask as i'm sure some of the cars i viewed did, but mine doesnt. The car is a 96 facelift TT

Cheers

Well the only facelift car i looked at was the one i bought, the rest were all pre. I knew i had seen the digital displays in all of them and just thought they would have all had the 'standard' type display found in most cars.

Now i feel stupid! :)

Yeah, the bit you are talking about where the digital odo was on pre-facelift cars on facelifts has got some of the warning lights that are on the right-most fuel and temp dial on pre-facelift cars. Since they made the fuel and temp separate dials on the facelift there isn't anywhere for those warning lights to go.

Clears that up nicely! There obviously isnt, (cos i aint got one!) but i'm sure i read the facelift has a battery gauge to?

I guess i've taken on so much info over the last month or so and decided to create a facelift supra that doesnt exist with digital odo's and battery gauges hahahah :)

The facelift NA has a battery gauge where the TT has a boost gauge. So you're not too far off!
