Guest nilpoints
OK. I'm being a bit dumb but I'm not sure my No 2 turbo is spooling and "coming on". Car is completely stock. No 1 turbo is easy to hear at 2-3K rpm and car pulls well. Car continues to pull at 4K plus but no feeling of a push or any extra power over 4K. Only had car a few weeks and otherwise runs true. Cheers Nilpoints
Zed
Have you got a boost gauge fitted as this will make diagnosis a bit simpler. I had a similar problem a while back which was due to a broken EGCV ( Exhaust gas control valve). Thses are about £400 from toyota, although shouldn't be too difficult getting hold of a used one, especially j-spec. Anyway try searching for a post titled " Is my 2nd turbo dead" this will explain the sysmptoms I had and hopefully be of assistance to you. Good luck mate. ps. this thread should help too http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35926
