There is a good tyre place near Slough, just opposite the Mercedes dealership in Slough trading estate.

Inexpensive and good work, before/after printouts etc.

Also a handful of Kwik-fits now have 4-wheel alignment setups, I used one the other day.

Thanks Terry  I shall pm CJ and ask what he thought.

Also John do you have a name for that place in slough ;)

Not sure about taking my motor to quick fit though - never herd anything good out of them so have not tried......... :run:

I think it was here right where the "I" is in Ipswich Road

As for Kwik fit, I too find them to be jokers, but the one who did my alignment the day before was OK, so let's not generalise. Not all Kwik Fits have this setup either, just a handful.

  • 1 month later...

Right gents who can help.

I have phone up Micheldever tyres to see about 4 wheel alignment...

They need the specs/form with the measurement or something before they can do it. But I have not got a clue what they are on about. I think I kinda do but I just want it all aligned so that I can have more rubber on the floor...

Basically this came up when I said it was an import. I know nothing about wheel alignment except for the obvious :blahblah: but I know I do not want the inside wearing out quicker...

Can any one help explain to me what these guys are asking for...

I don't want the J-spec alignment figues I want it to sit flat on the road....

:stupid:

Cheers,
