Guest Deadlock Posted June 8, 2005 Share Posted June 8, 2005 Hi guys and girls, the name is CJ, I am looking to buy a Supra TT after owning a Golf GTI (was ok) and currently (selling) my V6 4 motion! (a seriously understated car!) I am currently part of the UKMKIV's.net VW club/forum and have been for a good 2 years now, there a great bunch But I want the Supra!! - need to move on- But i'll have to nip in now and again as I used to arrange GB's and Meets! Although I look forward to meeting you guys at some future meets! (can't believe I'm going to have a standard car again) oh well let the modding commence I have always wanted a Supra and considering the maintenance is CHEAPER then the Golf V6 which is a 2.8L so only a bit smaller the Supras engine! Now is the right time! I have test drove 2 Autos and am test driving a manual at the weekend! (gosh! how hard is it to find a manual! ) I am willing to part with up to £9K of my hard earned! and so far the models I’ve seen have been below that and in bloody good nick I tell you what though, the info on this forum, is immense!! and has been put to good use, especially what to look for/test when buying a Supra! I tend to move quite quickly so I will have my Supra very soon! Oh and I warn you, I'm a clean freak and love taking pictures! Thanks Guys!! (oh and how do you install the avators???) Chiron Posted June 11, 2005 Share Posted June 11, 2005 After wrighting off my beloved white TT 6 speed manual Soop last July ('04), I thought I'd join up with my new Supra: still a 6 speed TT, but with a DO-LUCK kit, all in black. Other mods as well. Thanks to Ben at GT-Culture for all his help & work; did take a long time to get through the ESVA test though! Took possession Easter '05.
